Alpaca fibre is simply the warmest fibre — wouldn’t you want it in your nest? It contains microscopic air pockets that provide great insulation to keep birds warm. The fibres are fine, lightweight and silky, yet this luxury fiber has great strength and durability. Chickadees, titmouse and other songbirds love and use it.
Instructions: Find a cage-like container or something with holes in it so birds can pull the fiber through. Stuff the container with the alpaca fibre or make a ball and tie it off with twine, then hang it outside.
